On Android


The devices with a SIM card, the license is associated with the IMEI.


The devices without a SIM card, the license is associated with the memory card or the internal memory.


On iOS


The license is associated with your Apple ID. The limitation is determined by the agreement of App Store of Apple and it's conditions.


On Bada 2.0 and Windows Mobile/ CE


The license is associated with the device


Why is additional data being downloaded when initiating the application?


On Android, iOS, Bada 2.0


The application might download additional data after the installation or update of Google Play, App store or Samsung application stores. The data is being downloaded when the application is being initiated and the size will be a few dozens of MB.


We recommend you to start the installation or update procedure when you have access to WiFi connection before you initiate the NavionTruck application. This way, you will be able to use the navigation without internet connection afterwards.


We also recommend you to deactivate the automatic updates in Google Play and to update the application manually and only when you have access to WiFi connection. 


Is it possible to use NavionTruck GPS Navigation to navigate to an address from my contact list?


In this case it is essential that the contact has an address in the following order: Street, Town, Province, Region, Country, separated by commas.


On Android


There are two ways to do this:


1. Go to the contact list of your device:
Select the contact you want to go to. Click on the address and in the menu that will appear select NavionTruck GPS Navigation. The application will try to find the address by searching on the internet (in this case it is required to have internet connection). If the address has been found it will change into coordinates so that the GPS Navigation NavionTruck will be able to navigate. It will not work if you introduce the coordinates in stead of an address of the contact.


2. Directly on the GPS Navigation NavionTruck application via the contact menu:
Go to the contact menu and click on the contact you want to go to. There will appear a menu with destination options. The contact addresses are being set when you enter the menu, but only the contacts that comply with the specific criteria will appear. If you are not able to see the contacts, or a contact isn't shown correctly in GPS Navigation NavionTruck, please go to the frequently asked questions related to this subject.


On iPhone and iPad


Directly on the GPS Navigation NavionTruck application via the contact menu:
Go to the contact menu and click on the contact you want to go to. There will appear a menu with destination options. The contact addresses are being set when you enter the menu, but only the contacts that comply with the specific criteria will appear. If you are not able to see the contacts, or a contact isn't shown correctly in GPS Navigation NavionTruck, please go to the frequently asked questions related to this subject.


I am not able to see contacts in the GPS NavionTruck Aponia application or the address isn't shown correctly. Why?


On Android


If you are not able to see contacts in the list, please make sure if you have complied with all the following criteria:


The address should be introduced correctly in the contact of your contact list of your device: Street, Town, Provence, Region, Country, separated by commas.


If you are not able to see the address on your device, please try to go to the address directly via the NavionTruck application. In some cases, it is possible that the devices has problems with conflicting addresses between the application and the device.


It is very important that you set the name of the address in the official language of the Country to which you want to navigate.


On iPhone and iPad


Apart from complying with the criteria above, please make sure that NavionTruck Navigation has access to the address list of your device.

Is it possible for GPS Navigation NavionTruck to navigate to coordinates that are shared by other applications?


If you are using another application to send coordinates to GPS Navigation NavionTruck, the coordinates will be automatically added to the route planning and the application will start to navigate to the selected destination. The disadvantage of this procedure is that it depends on other applications. Furthermore, any application of third parties has its own user interface and sometimes it won't be easy to find the mentioned option.


What should I do if I lose the data of the application or if I change devices?


If you are using the application in Android or Windows Phone, all you need to do is download the App from Play Store or Windows Store and afterwards download the maps, next, introduce the licence number you bought from store.naviontruck.com. The licence number appears in your account and your order number. If you use Windows CE, use the NavionTruck Wizard in order to download the app and the maps, next, follow the same steps as those for Android and Windows Phone. If you are using iPhone or iPad, download the appplication from App Store and recover your licence from your iTunes account.


A very important thing you should know is that each licence can be activated for a limited amount of times, thus we recommend you not to share the licence with anyone, once you have used up the amount of activations you have, you will have to purchase a new licence.


Using maps of different providers


In order to use maps of different providers, you will need an activated serial number for all the map providers you wish to use.


You will be able to download the map of your choice after you activate the serial number.


To select the map you wish to use, please go to the list of downloaded maps, Menu - Settings - Maps - List of maps.


Errors in the roads and map data


GPS Navigation NavionTruck uses maps of different map providers.


To get information about the map that you are using, please go to: Menu - Settings - Map - List of Maps.

Import POI in GPX format to GPS Navigation NavionTruck


Copy the GPX file to the directory file "/Android/data/es.naviontruck.truck.bor1.es/files/NavionTruck Navigation/favorites/import" If you wish to import photos for the POI categories, copy the images in the same directory with the same name as the one in the GPX file. In other words, the name of the image should be the same as the one of the GPX file.


The import should be finished within the application via Menu - Favorites -Icon to upload file - Select the POI's - Confirm with the V.


Move the data from the application to the SD card - For versions with Android Kit Kat or higher.


On devices with Android 4.4 or higher, you will be able to move the data of the application to the SD card if you follow these steps:


1¬ļ Go to the folder library on your device:¬†Android>data>es.naviontruck.truck.bor1.es, and move the file¬†es.naviontruck.truck.bor1.es to the folder on the SD Card Android/Data. The folder¬†es.naviontruck.truck.bor1.es¬†should be removed from the internal memory of the device. We recommend you to follow this procedure on your PC, given that some devices have difficulties with passing information from the internal memory to the memory card. To do this, please connect your phone to the PC and follow the procedure mentioned above.


2¬ļ Please remove the SD card from the device and insert it again, it is also possible to deactivate the card on the device: Settings - Storage - Remove SD.


Very important. If you remove the card from the device, please switch it off before because it is possible that the memory card gets damaged and you might lose the files.


3¬ļ Insert or activate the SD card in the device again.


4¬ļ Start the application.
